Rayman 2 – The Great Escape
Rayman 2: The Great Escape is a critically acclaimed 3D p...
The storyline picks up after the events of the original game, where the original monsters (George, Lizzie, and Ralph) have been abducted by the secret Scumlabs organization. A new trio of genetically altered beasts—Curtis the mouse, Boris the rhinoceros, and Ruby the lobster—must break out of captivity and travel across the globe to rescue their friends. Along the way, players can also unlock the original trio and additional secret characters.
Gameplay retains the classic 2D side-scrolling destruction mechanics viewed on a pseudo-3D plane. Players scale skyscrapers, punch windows, smash concrete walls, swallow terrified citizens, and demolish entire cities while avoiding tanks, fighter jets, police cars, and military explosives. Expanding on the first N64 entry, Universal Tour introduces robust four-player simultaneous multiplayer action, turning every city-flattening session into a chaotic, competitive monster brawl.
