Quest 64
Quest 64 (released in Japan as Eltale Monsters) is a pion...
The storyline begins when the villainous Bowser infiltrates Peach's Castle, steals the magical Star Rod from Star Haven, and uses its immense power to lift the entire castle into the sky—rendering himself virtually invincible. During the scuffle, Mario is defeated and cast out of the castle. Tasked with rescuing Princess Peach and restoring peace to the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario must embark on an epic quest to free the seven captive Star Spirits guarded by Bowser's elite minions.
Along the way, Mario is joined by a colorful roster of loyal companions—including Goombario, Kooper, Bombette, Parakarry, and Lady Bow—each offering unique overworld abilities used to solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and navigate obstacles. The game brilliantly combines traditional RPG character stats and leveling systems with interactive action commands, requiring players to time button presses precisely during attacks and defenses to maximize damage or mitigate incoming hits.
